Culture In Indonesia

Indonesia is very rich in culture, customs and tribe. Indonesia has 33 provinces from Sabang until Marauke. The severally province have differently culture, costum and tribe. That is why Indonesia has a semboyan Bhenika Tunggal Ika (although differently but still one). Indonesia has five religions. Those are Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, Kristine, catholic and Konghuchu. We should be taught to mutual appreciation of each other religions. Tribe in Indonesia is very diverse. For example Baduy tribe in Banten, Banjar tribe in Kalimantan, Batak tribe in Northern Sumatra, Dayak tribe in Kalimantan, Java tribe in Yogyakarta and Central Java betawi tribe in Jakarta and each others.  We as Indonesian never discriminate with the others tribe, customs and religions. We should be jointly to build Indonesia, because we are the part of Indonesia.

I want explain about culture in Yogyakarta. Culture in Yogyakarta is very diverse and amazing. People in Yogyakarta are famous very friendly and decency. Attraction in Yogyakarta is very much. They are the Borobudur temple, Parang Tritis beach, Prambanan temple and others. Musical instrument from Yogyakarta is gamelan. We can see and heard gamelan when we see wayang. Wayang is art from Yogyakakarta too. Costum home in Yogyakarta is joglo home. Usually people in Yogyakarta build houses with joglo home. Traditional dresses in Yogyakarta for women is Kebaya and for men is Biskap and wear Bangkon in his head. Yogyakarta typical food is Gudeg. Gudeg made from young jackfruit in piece and cook with spices, coconut milk and brown sugar. Clothes shops in Yogyakarta many are selling Batik. The cakes from Yogyakarta are bapia pathok. The cake is very suitable for souvenirs.

That is some about culture of Yogyakarta. All culture in Indonesia should be preserved so not to become extinct.
